Mobile App: Paksoy Altın
Our "Paksoy Altın" mobile app (iOS and Android) lets you follow live gold, currency and crypto prices and track your personal portfolio. The data practices of the app are as follows:
- Use without an account: the app can be used without registering; in that case your portfolio, favorites, alerts and preferences are stored ONLY on your own device and are deleted when you delete the app.
- Optional account: you can sign in with Google or Apple; at sign-in your full name, email address and profile photo are linked to your account (which is shared with your paksoykuyumculuk.com account).
- Cloud sync: when you are signed in, your favorites, price alerts and portfolio transactions are stored on our servers and linked to your account so that they can be synced across your devices. These data are deleted when you delete your account or ask us to delete them.
- Account deletion: you can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete My Account); your personal data in the cloud are deleted, while order and invoice records are kept separated from your identity for the statutory retention period only.
- Notifications: in order to send price alert notifications, your device's notification identifier (push token) is stored on our servers. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
- Price data connection: live prices are retrieved from our servers; in the process, standard access records such as your IP address are created as a technical necessity and are used only for the security and continuity of the service.
- No analytics or advertising: the app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking technology.
- Store section: purchases made within the app take place on paksoykuyumculuk.com and are subject to this Privacy Policy and to the Distance Selling Agreement.
